The National Trust has opened three new footpaths within the last few years which you may not have tried.
Clitters Wood
Clitters Wood Footpath Route
This is a nice circular walk through Clitters Woods with stunning views over the Yealm estuary.
Wembury Woods
 The circular Footpaths Route
The National Trust have purchased part of Wembury Wood to enable a larger network of footpaths to be constructed around the area. This new circular 5 mile walk, from Wembury Village through the Wembury Woods, open fields and back to Wembury Village was opened in May 2009. It is a stunning walk so please make use of it.
Wembury Point and Great Mewstone
Wembury Points Paths
The National Trust have and continue to develop, the coastal land that was previously HMS Cambridge, now known as Wembury Point including the Great Mewstone. This area is open to the public. The main access is by foot, so why not take a stroll across this lovely area. There is a small car park on the edge of the site.
